This is pretty much a masterclass in game design. Buy it if you like roguelikes.. Don't let the graphics fool you, this is fun rouge-like that is usually quick to play, but challenging. It can be a bit difficult to figure out how things work, but once you do, you will be able to reliably make progress. Check it out, especially when on sale.. In a perfect world some bigger company would see this and transform it in the hacking mini-game of a AAA adventure, but by itself it's a quick dungeon crawler with sufficient depth...And the name is way better than the old random string of numbers of the beta, even if i've played the beta more.. I missed the boat when this came out for mobile. It plays great on PC, but now it's a must have for my bus trips. Very simple and quick, and has that compelling "one more time" feel.Your goal is to score the most points across 8 short levels. Capturing score blocks or special abilities causes enemies to appear. You also need to capture resources to feed your special abilities. Everything else is about carefully positioning yourself to manage the enemies. It reminds me a lot of Ending, but with an added risk/reward balance so that you can decide when to play safe or increase your score.. A great time-waster for any spare minutes of the day; it has a nice amount of randomness, but takes more of the form of a puzzle game as you try and exploit enemy behaviours. Character placement is everything, once you get past a decent armory of progs and stay on top of managing your resources. I always find myself returning to this game and reccommend it.. The game screen is shoved into the bottom right corner of my screen so I cant see a big chunk of the game.
